I’m saddened upon learning of the death of your husband and my friend. I learn that life is so quick with so many changes in a moment and a twinkling of the eye. I was not aware until recently that he answered the call that we all must answer one day. Im very thankful for the short time he was in my life. Even now I see his smile and hear his voice. The memories are the treasures that we will have forever. I’m very thankful that God felt I was worthy to spend time with him and his family. As I go forward know that you will be in my prayers and that I know he is at rest in our Father. He always said I seem to show up right on time . My prayer is that God will give you the comfort and peace that only he can give. The good news is we shall see each other again. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of his life no matter how brief. It is truly awesome that God is in the details of our lives. Be encouraged and know that God is Faithful..

Please accept our deepest sympathies in the passing of such a dear member of your family. We are praying for you at this time. He was a high school classmate of mine and I remember him fondly as the smartest member of our class, captain and best player on the basketball team and generally a good and likable person. He set the standard that we all wanted to achieve. He will be missed.
