I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

I worked with Rod at Dept. of Ag, and in the last couple of years; before he retired, we realized we had a lot in common. I enjoyed receiving calls from him and we would talk for a long time about politics, religion and the state of the union. :-) I very very much enjoyed getting to know that Rod Henning. I thought of him often after he retired and I'm so so sorry to hear that he has passed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. I respected his thoughts and opinions so much and I know you will miss him terribly!
