Jackie Kent Bloomfield, age 72 of Irvington, KY died Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Garfield, KY on January 6, 1945. Jackie was a member of Garfield Baptist Church and the owner of Jack's Body Shop. He was a Golden Glove boxer, enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt. He lived in a house not divided - he was a fan of both the Louisville Cardinals and Kentucky Wildcats.

He was preceded in death by his father James Curtis Bloomfield and his son Jackie Howard Bloomfield.

Jackie is survived by 2 sons - Dave Bloomfield (Wendy) of Elizabethtown, KY and Dustin Bloomfield (Christy) of Flaherty, KY
1 daughter - Laura Bloomfield of Irvington, KY
mother - Helen Smith of Vine Grove, KY
10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild
brother - Bobby Bloomfield (Debbie) of Irvington,KY

In keeping with the wishes of Jackie, cremation was chosen. Visitation will be held at Garfield Baptist Church on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 4-7 PM CDT. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Garfield Baptist Church.
