Ralph Edward Bishop, age 72 of Glen Dean, KY died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Glen Dean, KY on September 6, 1944, the son of the late Henry and Bertha Poole Bishop. Ralph was a retired self-employed logger and farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and his four-legged friends Muncho and Daisy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 grandsons - Marlin Bishop and Roscoe Bishop, 2 brothers - Calvin Spaulding and James Henry Bishop.

Funeral services will be held at Goshen Baptist Church in Glen Dean, KY on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 11 AM with Rev. Chuck Ellis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, 4-8 PM and Saturday 8 - 10:30 AM
