John P. Schwartz, age 76 of Harned, KY died Saturday, February 11, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Geneva, Indiana on June 14, 1940, the son of the late Peter L. Schwartz and Sarah Zook. He was a farmer and carpenter who enjoyed reminiscing about old times, working jigsaw puzzles and playing board games.

John was preceded in death by his wife Rachel S. Schwartz, 2 daughters Lydia and Martha, 5 brothers and 4 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Schwartz home near Harned, KY. Burial will be in the North Hudson Amish Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the Schwartz home on Monday, 12-7 PM.
