Harry H. WilloughbyAugust 11, 1928 ~ December 13, 2017 (age 89)
Harry H. Willoughby, age 89 of Hardinsburg, KY died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Falls of Rough area of Grayson County, KY on August 11, 1928, the son of the late James Hardin and Della Lee Fentress Willoughby. Harry was a member of Lone Star Church of Christ and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was the proprietor of several businesses over the years which included Willoughby Lumber Company, which he operated for 50 years, Dairy Cup in Hardinsburg, Irvington and Leitchfield and Willoughby Restaurant and Motel. He was a member of the Board of Directors of The Farmers Bank and a builder. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Betty Willoughby, brothers Elmo and Mike Willoughby and his sister Marti Lunsford.
Harry is survived by his daughter: Karen Poole and her husband Randy of Hardinsburg, KY
brother - Billy Willoughby of Corydon, IN
sister - Mary Jane Nash of Hardinsburg, KY
several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at Lone Star Church of Christ in Falls of Rough, KY on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11 AM. Burial will be in the Ivy Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Tuesday, 8 - 10:15 AM
