Gwendolyn Hope Foley, age 65 of McDaniels, KY died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY on October 7, 1951, the daughter of the late Joe Berry Emberton and Lola Joyce Martin. She was a retired cosmetologist and park attendant for the Army Corps of Engineers. She was a member of Faith Praise and Worship Center in Zoneton, KY, enjoyed singing, playing the guitar, gardening, being outdoors and meeting new friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Joseph David Foley and sister Kathy Atherton.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 7 PM with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin at 2:30 PM on Thursday.
