Wilma Nell (Murphy) Adcox

Wilma Nell Adcox, age 89 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away August 3, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cuba, IL on April 4, 1933, daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie Krantz Murphy. Wilma was a homemaker and had many interests that include watching basketball, knitting, crocheting, flower and vegetable gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Kenneth, Loren and George Murphy, Annabelle Groom and Jeanie Hallstrom.

Wilma is survived by  3 daughters - Edie Robbins of Harned, KY; Jackie Pile of Hudson, KY and Lisa Jones of Lexington, KY

10 grandchildren: Joshua Robbins, Julia Payne, Sarah Preston, Jerry Pile, Jr., Justin Pile, Jenna Medley, Jessica Pile, Christopher Duke, Nicholas Duke and Frank Duke, Jr.

11 great grandchildren: Diana, Ciera and Jasmine Robbins; Ricki and Annalee Rose Preston; Isabelle, Reagan, Gibson and Lane Pile, Macie and Lyle Medley

1 brother: Leo Murphy of Galesburg, IL; 2 sisters: Serena Simmons of Knoxville, IL and Connie Davies of DeLong, IL

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:30 PM with burial in the Horsley Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM. Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Horsley Chapel Cemetery.
