Virginia Faye (Lucas) Burden

Virginia Faye Burden, age 65 of Falls of Rough, KY passed away October 11, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Glen Dean, KY on August 7, 1956, the daughter of the late Roy and Marie Henderson Lucas. Faye was a member of Harvest for Jesus Christ House of Prayer and a caregiver. She enjoyed yard sales, cooking, her rose garden and watching The Bold and The Beautiful, Let's Make a Deal and The Price is Right.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Zachary Burden,  brother Henry Taylor and sisters Donna Lucas and Brenda Phillips.

Faye is survived by her husband Wendell Ray Burden of Falls of Rough, KY

5 children: Michael (Amber) Burden of Falls of Rough, KY; Josh (Sonya) Burden of Cloverport, KY; Kandis (Harold) Boone of Cloverport, KY; James (Jennifer) Burden of Morgantown, KY and Sheryl (Earl) Hicks of Caneyville, KY

20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren

6 brothers: James Lucas of Decatur, IL; Bobby (Patty) Taylor of Bloomington, IL; Billy (Sue) Lucas of Glen Dean, KY; Hershel (Sandy) Lucas of Louisville, KY; Jerry and Perry Lucas of Glen Dean, KY

2 sisters: Pauline White of Eveleigh, KY and Linda (Calvin) Sebastian of Locust Hill, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1 PM with burial in the Glen Dean Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday after 11 AM.
