Virginia Bickett

Virginia Bickett, age 99 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, June 29, 2020 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 9, 1921, the daughter of the late Gabe and Ruth Cousins Dowell. Virginia was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and a homemaker. She was an avid U of L Cardinal fan who always looked forward to basketball season. Watching TV was a favorite pasttime, especialyl soap operas. She enjoyed sewing and flower gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rick Bickett and her brother Bill Dowell.

Virginia is survived by 2 sons - Ken Bickett and his wife Faye of Harned, KY and Steve Bickett and his wife Lorraine of Hardinsburg, KY

3 grandsons - Gary, Jeremy and Eddie Bickett

3 great grandchildren - Caden, Parker and Lily

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 12 PM with Fr. Tony Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, Visitation will be held on Friday, 10:30 AM - 12 PM.
