Vendilene Laslie Stinnett, age 90 of Hardinsburg, KY died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Kingswood, KY on April 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Morris and Bessie Priest Laslie. Vendilene attended Westview United Methodist Church. She was a very kind, caring lady with the sweetest smile, who adored her family and friends. She was a very hard worker who wore many hats - she worked at GE, Galante Studio, the sewing factory and as a caregiver in to her 80's. She always found time for fun things with her children when they were young, especially picnics and climbing to the top of Sand Knob. She and her daughter enjoyed shopping trips, whether window shopping, in store or by magazine - they loved being together. Vendilene was very artistic and had a knack for decorating her home. She never left her home that she didn't look perfect - always such a lady. She treated everyone fair and the way she would want to be treated in return.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Thomas M. Stinnett and siblings Carroll Hardin Laslie and Shelby Jean Lawrence.
