Timothy Alan Trost

Timothy Alan Trost, age 65 of Balltown, KY passed away October 12, 2021 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on December 11, 1955, son of the late Thomas Eugene Trost and Shirley Flora Bean Trost. Tim retired from the United States Army after 22 years. He was an employee of Southern States in Hardinsburg and always greeted his customers with a smile. He recently began working with White Tail Outfitters, where he found his niche for his love of the outdoors. Tim enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and playing cribbage. His family meant everything to him and he loved visits with them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew Nicholas Trost.

Tim is survived by his wife Pam Trost of Balltown, KY

3 children: T J (Kim) Trost  of Vine Grove, KY; Christina (Tom) Strock of Wooster, OH and Bill (Heather) Brown of Yorktown, VA

He was a proud Opa to Kaylee, Roman, Landon, Dajuana, Hailey, Mackenzie, Mason, Addison, Ryan, Cadence and Max

A Celebration of Life and Military Honors will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11 AM with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Sunday, 5-7 PM and Monday after 8:30 AM.
