Ruby Agnes Smith

Ruby Agnes Smith, age 87 of Hardinsburg, KY died Friday, February 28, 2020 at Breckinridge Memorial Nursing Facility. She was born in Ammons, KY on July 19, 1932, the daughter of the late Milton Horsley, Sr. and Eula Hartley Horsley. Ruby was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed working side by side with her late husband, gardening and sewing. She loved sister time - visiting, shopping and eating out.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Willis Smith, brother Joseph Lee Horsley and sisters Delores Sturgeon and Frances Simmons.

Ruby is survived by 2 daughters: Rita Faye Embry (Paul) of Copperas Cove, TX and Connie Kay Morton (Mike) of Robards, KY

3 grandchildren: Jason Embry, Matthew Embry, Katherine Lynn Brennan (Greg)

4 great grandchildren: Kori, Kyleigh and Elaina Embry, Brian Brennan

1 brother: Milton Horsley, Jr (Connie) of Ammons, KY

several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church 191 State Highway 232 Harned, KY 40144 on Tuesday, 3-3-2020 at 12 PM with Bro. Bob Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday at the church.
