Roger Dale Lucas

Roger Dale Lucas, age 72 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, February 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Mook, KY on April 17, 1948, the son of the late Jimmy and Mary Bell Sosh Lucas. Roger formerly worked for Brown and Williamson and is a retired carpenter. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and was a fan of old TV shows, especially Gunsmoke, Andy Griffith, The Rifleman, Bonanza and The Waltons.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his siblings Lucille Carman, Louise Hale, Marvin, Gilbert, KT, Ralph, Eugene and Tommy Lucas.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Lucas of Hardinsburg, KY

son - Troy (Bridgette) Lucas of Leitchfield, KY

daughter - Teresa Durbin of Hudson, KY

4 grandchildren: Justin Durbin, Kevin, Kyle and Jaxson Lucas

3 great grandchildren: Payton and Konner Durbin, Lincoln Lucas

1 brother - Larry (Debbie) Lucas of Madrid, KY

2 sisters - Irene Armes of Garfield, KY and Doris (Finley) Butler of Westview, KY

Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 12 PM.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Roger Lucas Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home to assist with expenses.
