Rodney Keith Ball, age 67 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away September 1, 2021 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on June 5, 1954, one of nine children of the late Kincheloe and Lottie Robbins Ball. Rod was a member and deacon of Friendship Baptist Church. He was the owner and operator of Ball and Ball Trucking, INC. Rod was a UK Wildcat fan and enjoyed fishing, dove hunting and farming. He loved his family and church beyond measure. Rod had the biggest heart and loved helping others. He was a stickler for things being neat - himself, his yard and his vehicles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers - William and Dwight Ball.

8 grandchildren: Makayla, Hunter, Caleb, Emma, Addison, Wyatt, Kenley and Kamree
3 brothers: Jim (Kammie) Ball of Evansville, IN, Gene (Fran) Ball of Circleville, KS and Barry (Brenda) Ball of Hardinsburg, KY
3 sisters: Sue (Gary) Tate and Laurel (Rex) Critchelow of Hardinsburg, KY and Nancy Glenn of Kingswood, KY

Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Monday, September 6, 2021 at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, 3:30 - 8 PM and Monday at the church after 9 AM.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to Friendship Baptist Church.
