Richard Dewayne "Ricky" Howard

Richard Dewayne "Ricky" Howard, age 63 of Leitchfield, KY died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Louisville, KY on March 16, 1957. He was a concrete safety officer. Ricky enjoyed being outdoors - hunting, walking and fishing and was a history buff. He adored his family and they loved him.

Ricky is preceded in death by his mother Thelma Jean Priest Howard, sister Joyce Ann Howard, granddaughter Paige Moore, mother and father-in-law Willard and Eva Basham, grandmother Betty Priest, aunt Wanda Duke, brothers-in-law Claudie and Willard Basham, Jr.

Ricky is survived by his wife Betty who he married on July 1, 1990. 

His father Herman Howard of Westview, KY

4 children: Dale (Jennifer) Moore and Gail Pile of Harned, KY, Michelle (Haley) Howard of Annetta, KY and Melissa Flaugher of Leitchfield, KY

brother - Randall (Lori) Howard of Irvington, KY

2 sisters - his twin Debbie (Harry) Sanders of Clarkson, KY and Rebecca (Chris) Sneed of Merriville, TN

14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 12 PM with Fr. Tony Bickett officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday.
