Nadine (Whitworth) Galloway

Nadine Whitworth Galloway, age 91 of Westview, KY passed away May 7, 2023 at Bee Hive Homes of Georgetown, IN. She was born in Hancock County, KY on May 12, 1931, daughter of the late Leslie Whitworth and Mary Miller Shelman. Nadine was a retired special education teacher for the Breckinridge County Board of Education. She was a member and former Sunday School teacher of Kingswood Wesleyan Church. Nadine enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, reading, church activities and yard work. She didn't hesitate to tackle a project regardless of the size - from painting an item to remodeling her kitchen. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Galloway, her son Lee Galloway, her siblings Francis, Larry, Billy, Raymond, Laymon, David and Thomas Earl Whitworth.

Nadine is survived by 3 sons: Ronnie (Mae) Galloway and Michael (Debbie) Galloway of Westview, KY and Neal (Doris) Galloway of Elizabeth, IN

daughter-in-law: Susie Galloway of Leitchfield, KY

14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren

1 brother:  Lowell (Cheryl) Whitworth of Hardinsburg, KY

1 sister: Linda (Walter) Hardin of McDaniels, KY

many nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 1 PM with burial in the Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Monday.
