Obituary

Morris Ray Whitworth, age 68 of McQuady, KY passed away December 25, 2021 at the Robley Rex Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was born in Mook, KY on March 7, 1953, the son of the late Dual and Dorothy Aubrey Whitworth. Morris was a veteran of the United States Army. He had many interests that include fishing, mushroom and ginseng hunting. He loved time with his grandchildren and his dog Jake.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Whitworth, sisters Janice Rusher and Yvonne McAtee and cousin Roderick Elliott.

Morris is survived by his wife Mary Whitworth of McQuady, KY

4 sons - Charles Whitworth of Owensboro, KY; Shawn (Tabitha) Whitworth and J T Whitworth of Elizabethtown, KY; Kevin Whitworth of McQuady, KY

3 grandchildren: Lillie, Donivan and Castille Whitworth

2 brothers - Danny (Karen) Whitworth and Broderick Whitworth of Locust Hill, KY

sister-in-law: Betty Whitworth

brother-in-law: Franklin Rusher and Donnie McAtee

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 1 PM with burial in the Perry Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, 1:30 - 5 PM and Sunday after 10 AM. All times are central.
