Maurice Patrick Taul

Maurice Patrick Taul, age 94 of McQuady, KY died Friday, January 18, 2019 at Hardinsburg Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born in McQuady, KY on September 3, 1924, the son of the late Patrick Samuel and Pearl Lyons Taul. He was the oldest member of Corinth Baptist Church and a farmer. Mr. Taul had many interests that include reading, Bluegrass music, playing the harmonica, singing, and being outdoors.

He enjoyed going to the Fordsville Diner, having a cup of coffee and visiting with friends. He loved his dog Lou.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Vennie Miller Taul, 2 sons Joseph Patrick and Lafe Miller Taul, his brother Phil Taul and his sister Helen Murrell.
Mr. Taul is survived by 9 children: Steve Taul (Shelia), Ben Taul (Nancy), Dan Tom Taul (Diane), Boone Taul (Anita) and Pearl Standifur (Adam) of McQuady, KY

Funeral services will be held at Corinth Baptist Church in McQuady, KY on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 12 PM. Burial will be in the McQuady Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday after 9:30 AM under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
