Mary Alice (Bennett) Ford

Mary Alice Ford, age 80 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away May 25, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on March 19, 1942, daughter of the late Thomas Ova and Mary Frances Shellman Bennett. Mary Alice was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and Breckinridge County Women of the Moose.. She retired as manager of the former Houchens Family Center. She enjoyed being outdoors tending to her flowers. She frequented yard sales and spent many hours coloring beautiful pictures.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vernie R. Ford, son Dale Ford, son-in-law Mike Davis, siblings Annabelle Lyons, Buck, Pete, Herman, George, Dick, Bud, Roy, Joe and James Howard Bennett.

Mary Alice is survived by 3 children: Danny Ford of Owensboro, KY; Kathy Ford of Kingswood, KY and Rosie Davis of Hardinsburg, KY

9 grandchildren: Andrea (Alex) Naegele, Jenny (Billy) Pile, Randy Ford, Jeff Davis, Shannon Ford, Amber Walther, Tyson Ford I, Camilla Walther and Charles Walther.

15 great grandchildren: Jaylin Pile, Heavynne Church, Johntae Dean, Camden Dean, Landon Ford, Logan Pile, Alexis Pile, Nolan Ford, Mary Emma Pile, Aryianna Walther, Maddie R. Pile, Tyson Ford II, Tegan Raylee Ford, Trey Ford and Presley Carwile

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1 PM with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Saturday.
