Marvin Duncan

Marvin Duncan, 77 of Hardinsburg, KY, died on January 23, 2023 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on July 19, 1945 to the late Leonard Duncan and Pearl Catherine Duncan. Marvin was a farmer but had worked in many different jobs over the years. He previously worked as a cook at Fort Knox, worked for the State Highway Department, Breckinridge County Detention Center, janitor at Galante Studio and most recently for Mitch Jackson State Farm Insurance and WXBC Radio. It is evident what a hard worker he was. He was a very kind and gentle man who loved his family. Marvin always had a smile on his face and was a friend to all. 

Marvin is survived by his wife, Thurman Duncan. 

Daughters: Debbie Peyton (Bo) of Irvington, KY and Bridget Duncan of Falls of Rough, KY

Brothers : Rev. James Duncan (Joyce) of Hardinsburg, KY and Garfield Duncan (Brenda) of Louisville, KY

Sister: Margaret Mucker of Hardinsburg, KY

Grandchildren: Camilla Studle (Hunter) of Bowling Green, KY and Savannah Hammack of Falls of Rough, KY

Great-Grandchildren : Ava Parsons and Otis Studle

In keeping with Marvin's wishes, cremation was chosen by the family
