Margie Doris Gentry

Margie Doris Gentry, age 85 died Friday, September 4, 2020 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on August 12, 1935, the daughter of the late Theodore and Cecil Roberts Dowell. Margie was a retired mail carrier. She enjoyed collecting antiques and gardening. She loved time spent with her family and they adored her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gentry, daughter Pamela Mallon, siblings Wanda, Ronnie, Bobbie and Mike.

Margie is survived by her son Chuck Gentry and his wife Karen of Custer, KY

brother: Phillip Dowell and his wife Anna Margaret of Hardinsburg, KY

5 grandchildren: Ellie, Rachel, Misty, Andy and Stephanie

2 great grandchildren: Brandon and Dino

many nieces, nephews and cousins

Private funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens in Mount Washington, KY. Walk through visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, September 7, 2020 from 2:30 - 5 PM central time.
