Marcella Ramey Obituary

Marcella Ramey, age 76 of Madrid, KY died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Kindred Hospital. She was born in Buras, KY on March 19, 1944, the daughter of the late Sidney and Lorena Carman Butler. Marcella was a member of Hudson Community Church. She enjoyed yard sales, family gatherings and attending church services. Marcella was the backbone of her family. During the Christmas holidays, which was her favorite time of year, she was like a child - wide eyed with amazement at the decorations, loved shopping, decorating, cooking and time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Rue Anna Morris.

Marcella is survived by her husband Glenn Ramey of Madrid, KY

sons: Ricky Dennis and Chase Michaels of Madrid, KY

daughters: Cynthia Dennis of Hodgenville, KY

Marlena Ramey and Misty Evans of West Virginia

6 grandchildren: Deven Yates, Tara King, Ariel Bartram and Skye Davis, Kaden and Kendra Partlow

brothers: Carroll Butler (Gail) and Sidney Farrell Butler (Judy) of Custer, KY

sister: Vonnie Bennett (Bobby) of Custer, KY

Private graveside services will be held at Madrid Cemetery under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
