Lucille (Drane) Sutton

Lucille Sutton, age 88 of Woodrow, KY died May 25, 2021 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Woodrow on March 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Bob and Vitula Meadors Drane. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for family gatherings and sitting on her porch watching the hummingbirds. She always enjoyed family and friends who stopped by for a visit. A favorite past time was playing cards with her sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, daughters-in-law Giselle Sutton and Cindy Sutton, grandson Adam Sutton, sister Margaret Robinson and brothers Ova, Ralph and Larry Drane.

Lucille is survived by 3 children: Beverly (Jimmy) Rogers of Arch Hill, KY, Philip Sutton and Jimmy Sutton of Woodrow, KY

6 grandchildren: Brent (Jill) Sutton, Bridget (Dale) Fisher, Mallory (Scottie) Drake, Jimmy Rogers, Tonya Rogers and Adelle Sutton

8 great grandchildren: Lacey and Eli, Madelyn and Easton, Austin, Jake, Billy Joe and Mylee

2 sisters: Geraldine Nix of Locust Hill, KY and Debbie (Randall) Poole of McDaniels, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 1:30 PM with burial in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:30 - 6 PM and Sunday after 10 AM.
