Leonard Keith Cable

Leonard Keith Cable, age 78 of Custer, KY passed away October 5, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Yale, Oklahoma on March 13, 1943, the son of the late Leonard Carl and Minnie Marie Cable. Keith was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army and a Civil Service Retiree. He had many interests that include woodworking, watching TV and tinkering in his garage, but those most important to him were his family. He greatest joy was having his family with him.

Keith is survived by his wife Margaret Cable of Custer, KY

Children: Kathy (Matt) Firesheets of Custer, KY; Bryan (Stacey) Cable of Hardinsburg, KY; Laura (Steve) Nau of Evansville, IN, Michael (Melanie) Keesee of Custer, KY and Jackie (Jeremy) Magness of Custer, KY

12 grandchildren: Emily (Aaron) Elliott, Brandon (Breanna) Firesheets, Sadie and Ellie Firesheets, Shelby and Logan Cable, Carley, Sophie, Maddie and Hayden Nau, Katie and Cassidy Magness

3 great grandchildren: Oliver and Daniel Firesheets, Wyatt Elliott

brother: Stanley (Liz) Cable of Conway, Arkansas

sister: Patricia Cable of Langley, Washington

4 nephews

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be in the Bennett Cemetery in Custer, KY. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, 2:30 - 7 PM and Monday after 8:30 AM.
