Kitty Rose Parsons, age 75 of Hardinsburg, KY died Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Central Station, West Virginia on March 26, 1945. She was one of fourteen children born to the late Charles and Opal Chipps Cavins. Kitty loved time spent with her grandchildren. She was quite the homebody and enjoyed watching television, especially crime shows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Rod, Andy, John, Leslie, Sam, Bill, Colin, Annie, Pat, Jessie and Jo.
Kitty is survived by 5 children: Ray Parsons of Smithburg, WV, Patrick Parsons of Garfield, KY, Samantha Travis (Christopher) of Garfield, KY, Anna Lamb of Parkersburg, WV and Colin Cavins (Tom Bolt) of Spring Hill, TN
17 grandchildren: Ryan Travis (Eleanor), Christopher, Rodney and Charles Travis, Catherine Williamson (Ian), Daniel Travis (Makayla), Montrell Brown, Solomon Cottrill, Isiah and Zechariah Lamb, Brandon Batton (Lindsey), Cody Batton, Savannah Parsons (James Gregory), Olivia Campbell (Dalton), Elizabeth, Abigail and Aubrey Parsons. Several great grandchildren also survive.
2 sisters: Tom Evans of North Carolina and Herb Bibbi of Michigan
Private funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.
Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Kitty Parsons Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home to assist with expenses.
