Kimberly Rose (Allen) Dyer

Kimberly Rose Dyer, age 51 of Harned, KY passed away January 8, 2022 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on August 17, 1970. Kim was a curriculum specialist at Ben Johnson Elementary School, a job that she loved. She could often be found making and distributing arts and crafts gifts to her students and co-workers. Kim was a member of Irvington Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She had many interests that include watching HGTV, Sci-Fi movies, Netflix and football - especially Alabama and the Green Bay Packers. Her favorite teams were the ones her sons participated on. She was quite the scholar and had a huge collection of books on her Kindle. She had a giving heart and did so much for others. She did not pamper herself often, but when she did, she enjoyed going to the nail salon as well as preparing lemonade slushies and eating crushed ice.

She was preceded in death by her father Merlin Allen and her brother Tim Allen.

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the Hensley Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, 3 - 7 PM and Saturday after 8 AM.

Due to the upswing in Covid infections and hospitalizations, the family is requesting that you wear masks while attending all services. Additionally, if you fell sick or have been in contact with someone who is sick, please refrain from attending services.
