Judy (Flood) Hardesty

Judy Flood Hardesty, age 79 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away December 30, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on December 11, 1942, the daughter of the late James Vincent and Elizabeth Pearl Jolly Flood. Judy was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church, a hairdresser and homemaker. She enjoyed quilting and reading. Her family was everything to her and she to them. Judy was a beautiful, kind lady who always had a smile on her face and a helping hand for those who were in need.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons - Joseph and Tim Hardesty, sister Mary Eliza Wallace and brothers Bernard, Harold, Larry and Bobby Flood.

Judy is survived by her husband Charles Wayne Hardesty, Sr. of Hardinsburg, KY

4 children: Chuck (Sandi) Hardesty, Greg (Denise) Hardesty, Janet (Todd) Board and Jennifer (Kenny) Eskridge of Hardinsburg, KY

9 grandchildren: Nicholas (Meredith) Eskridge of Owensboro, KY; Sarah Elizabeth and William P. Eskridge of Hardinsburg, KY; Travis Gregory and Emily Michelle Hardesty of Hardinsburg, KY; Bradley Todd (Kelly-Jade) and Clinton Harold (Tiffany) Board of Hardinsburg, KY; James Timothy 'JT' and Michael Thomas Hardesty of Hardinsburg, KY

5 great grandchildren: Hudson Hardesty, Bo, Paxton and Bellamy Board, Callie Hardesty

3 sisters: Shirley Manning of Valley Station, KY; Ruby Wheatley of Hardinsburg, KY and Agnes Critchelow of McDaniels, KY

Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church  from 9 - 10:45 AM.
