Joseph C. Priest, age 72 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, September 2, 2019 at University Hospital in Louisville, KY He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on September 17, 1946, the son of the late Samuel and Clara Rhodes Priest. He was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and Breckinridge County Antique Tractor and Engine Club. He enjoyed boating, skiing, camping, and square dancing. He spent many hours working on cars and antique engines. He was a tinkerer and Jack of All Trades - Master of None.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Robert Joseph Priest, brother Tom Priest, sisters Dorothy Morris, Bonnie Williams and infant Janet Marie Priest.

daughter - Tessa Farris (Gregg) of Elizabeth, IN

2 brothers - Sam Priest, Jr. (Sylvia) and Donnie Priest (Sue) of Hardinsburg, KY

3 sisters - Betty Heaverin (George) of Florida, Mary Johnson (Allen) of Lousiville, KY and Cathy Priest of Paducah, KY

4 grandchildren: Alyssa, Chad, Tyler and Tabitha

5 great grandchildren

1 sister-in-law: Tommie Priest of Hardinsburg, KY

Funeral services will be held at St. Romuald Catholic Church in Hardinsburg, KY on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and Thursday after 8 AM.
