John David Sensenig

John David Sensenig, age 78 of Stephensport, KY peacefully went to be with Jesus on March 31, 2021, after a battle with cancer at his home surrounded by his family's love and prayers. He was born to the late Jacob and Martha Myers Sensenig of Terre Hill, PA on September 24, 1942. He married Dorothy I. Weaver of Mummasburg, PA on February 5,1961. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Philip, 2 brothers and several grand and great grandchildren. 

They were blessed with 11 surviving children: J Edward (Lois Ellen) Sensening of Shippensburg, PA, D Keith (Susan) Sensenig of Jamesburg, PA, H Marvin (Becky) Sensenig of Harvey, DE, J Dennis (Miriam) of Mio, MI, Violet (Nathan) Huber of Stephensport, KY, Sonya (Clayton) Derstine of Canby, CA, Wanda (Ronald) Horst of Jackson, MO, Audrey (Timothy) Weaver of Hardinsburg, KY, Elva (Mel) Derstine of Belle Foursch, SD, Kathy (James) Everly of Port Republic, VA and Phebe (David) Martin of Mio, MI

daughter-in-law: Sarah Ann Sensenig of Ionia, MI

111 grandchildren and 102 great grandchildren

Funeral services will be held at the Breckinridge Mennonite Church in Stephensport, KY on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 10 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday, 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
