Jane (Early) Claycomb

Jane Early Claycomb, age 83 of Henderson, KY and formerly of Stephensport, KY died Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at North Park Nursing Center in Evansville, IN. She was born in Stephensport, KY on May 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Dee and Georgie Smith Early. Jane was a member of English Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning and flowers. For many years, she operated a ceramic shop.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Claycomb, son: Vincent Preston Claycomb, Jr., granddaughter: Angela Claycomb, brothers and sisters: J D, Chester, Mary Ruth, Linda, Christine, Darnell and Leslie.

Jane is survived by her son: Dean Claycomb (Helen) of Hardinsburg, KY

daughters: Roxana Adkisson of Henderson, KY and Barbara Diane Dean of Lexington, KY

2 grandchildren: Ronald Dean Claycomb, Jr and Latasha Biggs (Michael)

6 great grandchildren: Emily, Darren, Preston, Paige, Claire, Chloe

brothers: Marvin Early of Stephensport, KY, Gene Early of Cloverport, KY and William Early of Houston, TX

sister: Elsie Butler of Salem, IN

Private graveside services will be held at English Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
