James Owen Hayes

James Owen Hayes, age 81 of Hardinsburg, KY died Thursday,  May 10, 2018 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Caneyville, KY on July 22, 1936, the son of the late Willard and Helen Hayes. He was a retired railroad lineman who enjoyed fishing, boating, country music and nice vehicles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine, 2 sons: Kenny Lee and Richard Keith Hayes and siblings Barbara Jo and Billy Ray.

James is survived by 1 daughter - Pamela Ann Fix of Irvington, KY
2 sons - James Owen Hayes, Jr (Lori) of Brandenburg, KY
Terry Ray Hayes (Kay) of Flaherty, KY
14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren
1 sister: Fritzy Carroll (Charlie) of Central City, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 1 PM.

Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, 10AM - 1 PM.
