James William Curry, Jr., age 81 of Hardinsburg, KY died Monday, January 25, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Campbellsville, KY on November 27, 1939, the son of the late James William Curry, Sr. and Quida Faith Curry. Jim retired from the Dollar General Store, where he was known to many friends and customers as "Dollar Store Jim" and "Turkey". Jim and his late wife attended Emmanuel Fellowship Church. He was devoted to his wife Paulette and she to him. They referred to each other as "My Old Maid and My Bachelor". She passed away July 16, 2019 and his life was not the same, now they are happy to be reunited. Jim's second love was animals and he saw that many were fed and cared for.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sister Saundra Twist and brother Ronnie Curry.

niece - Rebecca Ann Strader Domeck of Pleasure Ridge Park, KY
2 brothers: Don Curry of Tennessee and Larry Curry of Campbellsville, KY
Private funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home with burial in the Bethany Cemetery.
