James Aubrey Obituary

James C. Aubrey, age 83 of Hudson, KY passed away March 17, 2024 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hardin County, KY on July 22, 1940, son of the late Noah and Hazel Lucas Aubrey. James was a member of Hudson Community Church. He was a farmer who loved working side by side with his wife. He was an avid horseman, who enjoyed riding with Shirley and their friends - especially traveling to trail rides. He liked being outdoors operating his bulldozer and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Kathy Whitworth, Herman Aubrey, Ronnie Aubrey, Carroll Aubrey and two sets of twin siblings.

James is survived by Shirley, his wife of 62 years.

3 brothers - J T Aubrey of Hudson, KY; Shorty Aubrey (Melissa) of Boston, KY and Bobby Aubrey (Eastview) of Eastview, KY

2 sisters - Virginia Smith (Bill) of Cloverport, KY and Brenda Lucas of Custer, KY

Many nieces, nephews and their families.

Funeral services will be held at Hudson Community Church on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11 AM with burial in the Hudson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, 3:30 - 7 PM and Saturday, 9 - 11 AM. All times are central.
