Jacquline Zabel

Jacquline Zabel, age 76 of Hardinsburg, KY died Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Louisville, KY on September 7, 1943, the daughter of the late Edward and Pauline Peters. She was a former employee of Jones Plastics in Louisville, KY and retired from Walmart after 27 ½ years as a department manager. Jacquline was an avid UK fan, loved her horses, dogs and cats, enjoyed playing Bunko and watching all sports, especially basketball, football and golf.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Norman F. Zabel in 2000.

She is survived by 2 children: Chuck Zabel and his wife Sheila of Leavenworth, IN

Michele Smith and her husband Bob of Hardinsburg, KY

3 grandchildren: Heather Nichole Zabel Mercer (Ethan), Carrie Ann Zabel McCord (Korey) and Hunter Basham

2 great grandchildren: Dylan Thomas Zabel and Chloee Ann Zabel

3 step great grandchildren: Olivia McCord, Zander Mercer and Katlynn Mercer

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11 AM with Bro. Marvin Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, 4-8 PM and Saturday after 8 AM.
