Homer Lee Aldridge

Homer Lee Aldridge, age 91 of Harned, KY passed away July 26, 2021 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Breckinridge County on March 8, 1930, the son of the late Edward Owen Aldridge and Lora Tisha Smiley Aldridge. Homer was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church. He was a hardworking man who spent many years doing jobs that made him happy, such as farming and gardening. He enjoyed woodworking and grafting trees in his orchard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Carolyn, Harold, Owen and Willard Aldridge.

Homer is survived by Ruby, his wife of almost 70 years 

2 sons - Allen (Jennifer) Aldridge of Owensboro, KY and David Wayne (Kathy) Aldridge of Dallas, Texas

3 grandchildren: Joshua, Michael and David Aldridge

2 great grandchildren: Mikeal and Jonathan Aldridge

1 brother - David Randall (Marilyn) Aldridge of Louisville, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 11 AM with Rev. Bobby Stinnett officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, 3:30 - 7 PM and Friday after 8:30 AM.
