Hazel Hale

Hazel Hale, age 87 of Glen Dean, KY died Wednesday, 10-2-2019 at Hardinsburg Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born in Kirk, KY on August 17, 1932, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillis Wells Martin. Hazel was a homemaker who loved her family and time spent with them, watching soap operas, listening to music and caring for her indoor flowers and plants.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gene Hale, son Leroy Hale and brothers Fred, Jody and Leo Martin.

Hazel is survived by 2 daughters: Levina "Viney" Hale of Glen Dean, KY and Ronda (Buck) Moorman of Falls of Rough, KY
7 grandchildren: Kelly (Tony) Powers, Michael (Christa) Dowell, Kristi (Matt) Popham, Angie Fuqua-Vessels, Chris (Jenny) Hale, Andrea Crawford, Joe David (Brittney) Moorman

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, 10-5-2019 at 1 PM. Burial will be in the McQuady Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM on Saturday.
