Gerald Lewis Duncan

Gerald Lewis "Jed" Duncan, age 68 of Hardinsburg, KY died Thursday, August 27, 2020 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on September 4, 1951, the son of the late Leonard and Pearl Katherine DeJarnette Duncan. Jed was an avid Kentucky Wildcats basketball fan  He enjoyed being outdoors and loved spending time with his family, especially family meals.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Lula, Anna Laura, Mary, Sally and Charles.

Jed is survived by his wife Anita Moorman Duncan of Hardinsburg, KY

4 children: Chris Moorman (Ashleigh) of Louisville, KY, Gerald Duncan, Jr. of Hardinsburg, KY, Domita Perks (Larry) and Nedra Moorman of Irvington, KY

5 grandchildren:Michael and Hailey Moorman, Larry Jr., Josiah and Chyeann Perks

4 brothers: Marvin Duncan (Thurman) and Rev. James Duncan (Joyce) of Hardinsburg, KY, Garfield Duncan (Brenda) of Louisville, KY and Leonard Duncan Jr., (Johnnie Ann) of Irvington, KY

1 sister: Margaret Mucker of Hardinsburg, KY

Private funeral services will be held. Walk through viewing will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 10:30 am to 1 pm central time.
