Gary F. Carman, age 77 of Harned, KY passed away December 23, 2023 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Harned, KY on December 9, 1946, son of the late Louie H. and Anita Frank Carman. Gary was a retired livestock dealer who worked with Clayton, Tatum and Embry at Bourbon Stockyards in Louisville, KY for over 35 years and later worked with United Producers. Gary was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of Locust Hill Global Methodist Church and a former member of the Cattlemen's Association. Gary was a very soft spoken kind man, a very hard worker and devoted family man. He enjoyed playing cornhole, watching UK basketball games and was very meticulous about keeping his truck clean and shiny.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Bonnie Gayle Fentress.
Gary is survived by his wife Joan of Harned, KY
2 sons - Jeffrey Carman (Angel) of Harned, KY and Adam Carman of Bowling Green, KY
5 grandchildren: Austin and Haley Carman, Karissa and Travis Wilson, Kayela Bennett
1 great grandson - Lincoln Wilson
Brother-in-law - Darrell Fentress of Harned, KY
Sister and brother-in-law - Lois and Gordie Minter of Bowling Green, KY

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 2:30 - 7 PM and Thursday after 8 AM. All times are central.
