Gary Thomas Berry

Gary Thomas Berry, age 57 of Glen Dean, KY was called home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2023. Gary suffered a brain aneurysm in 1985 and it left him blind and partially paralyzed. Gary was an amazing son, brother and uncle to all of us. He never met a stranger, loved to listen to all movies, and loved to play WII. A friend said one time that she had never been beat by a blind man on the WII. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Emogene and his brothers, Charles William and Bobby Joe Berry. 

Gary is survived by his father William Berry, Jr. of Glen Dean, KY

sister: Barbara Berry (Gayle Brewer) of Mount Dora, FL

brother: Cecil Berry (Sheila Mahoney) of Louisville, KY

Sister-in-law: Jennifer Berry of Hardinsburg, KY

5 nieces and nephews: Christopher Berry, Sherrie French, Jenna Bruce, Bradley Berry and Grayson Berry

10 great nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 12 PM with burial in the Glen Dean Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, 4-7 PM and Tuesday after 8:30 AM.

Expressions of sympathy are suggested to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Cancer Center.
