Elizabeth Heaverin Obituary

Elizabeth "Betty" Masterson, age 78 of Bradenton, FL and formerly of Hardinsburg, KY, died Monday, January 25, 2021 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Hardinsburg, KY on February 26, 1942, the daughter of the late Samuel and Clara Rhodes Priest. Betty was a member of St. Romuald Catholic Church and a graduate of St. Romuald High School. She was a homebody and enjoyed sitting in her front porch swing soaking up the Florida sunshine. She liked walks on the beach, listening to her husband sing Karaoke and visiting the shell factory in Fort Meyers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe "Buddy" Masterson, her son Mark Masterson, brothers Tom and Joe Priest and sisters Dorothy Morris, Janet Priest and Bonnie Williams.

Betty is survived by her husband George Heaverin

daughter - Sandra Masterson of Harned, KY

3 grandchildren: Austin, Ashley and Jacob

2 great grandchildren and 1 expected any day

brothers - Samuel Priest, Jr (Sylvia) and Donnie Priest (Sue) of Hardinsburg, KY

sisters - Mary Johnson (Alan) of Louisville, KY and Cathy Priest of Paducah, KY

In keeping with the wishes of Betty, cremation was chosen with no services.
