Edward Dale Driskell

Edward Dale Driskell, age 71 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away November 4, 2021 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on May 4, 1950, son of the late Wallace Clay and Rachel Mildred Simmons Driskell. He retired from General Electric and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He loved being with his children, grandchildren and their families. He was an avid U K fan, enjoyed playing cornhole and was a member of the Trump Train.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Venus, Bill, Donald and David and sisters Linda Young and Oretha Mercer.

Dale is survived by 3 daughters: Missy (Todd) Winchell of Georgetown, KY; Jennifer Berry and Dr. Rebecca (Brian) Driskell McCoy of Hardinsburg, KY

6 grandchildren: Haley and Hayden Winchell, Jenna Bruce, Bradley Berry, Elise and Carson McCoy

3 great grandchildren: Drake, Hunter and Case Bruce

3 brothers: Wally (Sandy) Driskell of Indianapolis, IN; Jimmy (Gloria) Driskell and Larry (Patsy) Driskell of Louisville, KY

many nieces and nephews as well as the office staff of Dr. Rebecca Driskell McCoy.

Funeral services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11 AM with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Sunday, 4-8 PM and Monday after 8:30 AM. All times are central.
