Dwight Eisenhower "Ike" Robbins

Dwight Eisenhower "Ike" Robbins, age 58 of Owensboro, KY died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on May 19, 1960, the son of the late Edgar Earl and Hilda Mae Frank Robbins. Ike was a boat captain and member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He loved his family, especially time spent with grandchildren and great grandchildren. His many interests include fishing, hunting, motorcycles, 4-wheelin in the Hoosier National Forest and his animals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Willard, Junior, Mary Alta and Rudolph Robbins, Nellie Walker, Zula Mae Dennis and a stillborn brother.

daughters - Kelly Lyn Michie (Chris) and Shelly Ann Meredith (Brian) of Owensboro, KY
6 grandchildren - Tamara Nicole Jupin (Barry), Haile Meredith, Dariean Aleace Lanham (Cody), Lillian Michie, Ashton Lee Case and Brice Coomes
2 great grandchildren - Kenslie Nicole and Eli Jupin
brothers - Edgar Earl Robbins (Jackie) of Trafalgar, IN and Raymond Robbins (Cathy) of Tell City, IN

Funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church 191 Hwy. 232  Harned, KY 40144 on Thursday, 3-14-2019 at 1 PM. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg, KY on Wednesday, 4-8 PM and Thursday 8 AM - 12:30 PM. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Dwight Robbins Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
