Dwight Blankenship Obituary
Dwight Dewayne Blankenship, age 73 of Cloverport, KY passed away July 30, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in the Hudson community on November 22, 1947, son of the late John and Lorraine Clark Blankenship. Dwight was a self employed logger who enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing the lottery and watching UK basketball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Boyd and Arvil Blankenship and sister Barbara Smothers.
Dwight is survived by his wife Janice Blankenship of Cloverport, KY
son and daughter-in-law: Kevin Blankenship and Holli Hudson of Gallatin, TN
grandson - Kaden Blankenship of Gallatin, TN
brother - Robert (Brenda) Blankenship of Mook, KY
sister - Shirley (James) Aubrey of Hudson, KY
Graveside services will be held at Constantine United Methodist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 1 PM under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
