Dorothy Lee 'Dottie' (Courtney) Adcox

Dorothy Lee 'Dottie' Adcox, age 92 of Garfield, KY graduated into Glory on December 14, 2021. Dottie loved to shop, yard sale and sing Christian music. She was faithful in her able days to attending church and reading her Bible through and through. She  worked in retail and managing Dottie's Restaurant in the 1970's and a Christian Retreat in Panama City Beach, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband John E. Adcox and survived by her children: Sheila (Chet) Opdyke of Louisville, KY; Rev. Alisa (Doug) Carman of Hardinsburg, KY and Tony (Nina) Adcox of Garfield, KY.

6 grandchildren: Danielle (Pat) Clark, Kyle (Tonia) Adcox, Kelly (Tony) Barmore, Brian (Mackensie 'Corrie') Foster, Ruth (Clayton) Britt and Hope (Brandon) Moore

9 great grandchildren and 1 expected in January 2022

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 12 PM with burial in the Faith Community Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday.
