Donna Faye (Wilson) McAfee

Donna Faye McAfee, age 78 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away June 8, 2022 at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born in Delray Beach, Florida on July 3, 1943. Donna was a member of Hardinsburg Baptist Church. She retired from the Breckinridge County Board of Education after many years as the secretary at Hardinsburg Elementary School. Donna enjoyed reading, flower gardening, feeding and watching her flock of hummingbirds and working in the community garden at her church. She loved trips to Gatlinburg with her family. Donna was like a ray of sunshine and would put a smile on the faces of those who met her. 

She was preceded in death by her father Charles P. Wilson and her sister Nancy Jean Wilson.

Donna is survived by her husband Edward McAfee of Hardinsburg, KY

2 children: Eddie McAfee, Jr. and his wife Ann Marie of Harned, KY and Debbie McAfee of Louisville, KY

her mother: Anna Lou Wilson of Westview, KY

3 grandchildren: Jennifer Waters, Julie Ann and Lily McAfee

1 great grandson: Cayde Waters

2 brothers: Charles Allen Wilson and Mike Wilson and his wife Nancy Rose of Hardinsburg, KY

several nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 12 PM with burial in the Kingswood Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday.
