Donald Lee Cox

Donald Lee "Don" Cox, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2023, at his home in Lebanon, TN, after a long-time battle with chronic illness. He was born in Louisville, KY, on September 26, 1958, the son of the late Ella and Haskel Cox. Don was a strong, vibrant spirit who had a way of impacting every person he encountered. Always willing to lend a hand, he was the person that you call when you needed help. His hobbies included fishing, kayaking on the lake, traveling with his wife, Breanna, and spending time with family and friends. He was quite the comedian and brought new meaning to sarcasm. Don will be sadly missed and always hold a place in our hearts.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Joshua Cox and many siblings.

Don is survived by his wife Breanna Brown Cox of Lebanon, TN

10 children: Donald Cox, Jr., Tony Ponte, Brian Cox, Jeremiah Cox, Amanda LaFever, Aubreigh Cox, Alexandra Cox, Cheyenne Cox, Alyssa Cox and Margot McGowen

Funeral services will be held at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 3 PM with military honors to follow. Visitation will begin at 12:30 PM. All times are central.
