David Michael Stephens

David Michael 'Mike' Stephens, age 72 of Kingswood, KY passed away July 5, 2021 at  U of L Hospital. He was born in Louisville, KY on May 11, 1949, the son of the late Herbert and Imogene Rothrock Stephens. David was a faithful member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He retired from the maintenance department with Elizabethtown Community College. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and westerns. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step grandson Kristopher Cook and brothers Ricky and Robert Stephens.

Mike is survived by his wife Alice Stephens of Kingswood, KY

son - Patrick (Shannon) Stephens of Kingswood, KY

daughter - Amy (John) Carman of Hardinsburg, KY

5 grandchildren - Makayla (Robbie) Wright, Lita Carman, Katie, Emilie and Matthew Stephens

1 step grandchild - Patera (Johnathan) Sullivan

1 great grandchild - Amora Wright

2 step great grandchildren - Liam Sullivan and Xavier Cook

1 sister - Angela (Martin) Stout of McDaniels, KY

Funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Baptist Church on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2 PM with burial in Hillcrest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday after 9:30 AM.
