David Gene England

David Gene England, age 75 of Hardinsburg, KY passed away May 26, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Louisville, KY on December 14, 1947, son of the late Dorothy Byrd and Harvey Eugene England. He retired from GE where he was a material handler. David was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Hardinsburg Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors doing yard work, playing golf and traveling. He was an excellent cook and spent may hours woodworking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings - Elizabeth, Beverly, James, Billy, Michael, Gary and Ollie, Jr., his stepson - Delbert Willis, Jr. and grandson Austin Willis.

David is survived by his wife Linda 

3 children - Todd England, Lisa (Daniel) Gross and Jennifer (Todd) Donohue

2 stepchildren - Gary (Candace) Willis and Melissa Stevens

5 grandchildren: Madison and Dustin Gross; Kaden, Elle and Cooper Donohue

4 step-grandchildren: Jamie, Alyson and Cody Stevens, Tabatha (Damian) Roberts

Funeral services will be held at Hardinsburg Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 12 PM. Burial with military honors will be in the Old St. Anthony Cemetery in Axtel, KY. Visitation will begin at 10 AM at the church on Wednesday. All times are central.
