Billy Joe Roof, age 58 of Garfield, KY died December 23, 2020 at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital. He was born in Denver, CO on September 10, 1962, the son of the late Paul Stanley Roof and Wanda Fay Bratcher Roof. Billy was a self employed truck driver who enjoyed trips to the mountains and the beach, as well as riding his motorcycle, fishing and boating. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Billy is survived by his wife Sheila of Garfield, KY

sons - Steven Roof of Morgantown, KY and Kyle Roof of Washington

daughters - Kathryn Roof of Vine Grove, KY

stepchildren - Dustin Schlaffer of Washington, Andrew Roller of Virginia Beach, VA, Shelby Roller of Louisville, KY and Krystal Roller of Beaver Dam, KY

3 grandchildren - Kyleigh and Shin Roof, Sara Fields

brother - Ricky Roof (Darla) of Morgantown, KY

sisters - Rena Turner (David) and Crystal Walker (Michael) of Morgantown, KY

many nieces and nephews
